Michael "Mikey" Sirard

Michael “Mikey” Sirard, 36, Superior resident, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. He was born on July 20, 1980 in L’Anse, MI to Michael and Carol (Miller) Sirard.

He graduated from high school and worked as a laborer for VP Wildrice Company and the Superior Lidgerwood-Mundy Company.

Mikey married Kerri White on August 15, 2008 and they celebrated eight years of marriage.

He played on many county softball teams, was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and shed hunting.

Mikey is survived by his wife, Kerri; three children, Kayla Jean Sirard, Destiny Elliott and Kayla Ann Bennett, all of Superior; his father, Michael (Joanne) Sirard, Duluth, MN; his mother, Carol Sirard, Sarasota, FL; stepmother, Rosemary Sirard King, Scottsburg, IN; one sister, Crystal Marie Sirard; paternal grandparents, Aldrick and Barbara Sirard and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Time of Remembrance will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior. Following the service there will be a gathering of friends and family at Jimmy’s Saloon, 1812 Iowa Avenue, Superior celebrating Mikey’s life.
