Michael Schmitt

Michael Schmitt, 61, resident of Superior, WI, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN, after a long and courageous battle with kidney failure.

Michael was born in Del Mar, CA on December 3, 1962, the son of Gerald and Judith (McFarlin) Schmitt.

He served in the United States Army and attended UW Superior and Lake Superior College in Duluth. He later worked as an installer for Advance Security Systems for many years.

Micheal was a wonderful son, brother, and uncle and will be dearly missed by his parents Judy and Jerry Schmitt; sister Lori Klasnich; nephew Andrew Liljedahl; niece Kinsey Klasnich; and many aunts and cousins.
