Michelle L. Grymala

Michelle Lynn Grymala, 53, lifelong Superior resident, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, following a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on August 11, 1971, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret (Love) Grymala.
After graduating from high school, Michelle attended WITC in Superior and earned her associate degree in administration. She then worked as a CNA for many years.

Michelle was a mother of two beautiful daughters and a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren. She spent as much time with them as possible. She was also a collector of many things, but especially enjoyed finding turtle things, elephants, seals, penguins, dogs, ducks, and of course, Mickey Mouse. She loved going to the beach and being comfy at home with her coffee, cigarettes, and lottery tickets. Another big part of Michelle's life was her love for animals. She rescued many over the years.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters Amanda (Timothy) Tuura and Danielle (William) Norton; father Daniel (Jan) Grymala; grandchildren Damian and Nevaeh Tuura, Tay'Ven Norton, and Remington Rhodes; bonus children Trevor Sanigar, Ericka Rhodes, Katrina Oliver, Krista Oliver, Andy Oliver, Calvin Asbury, and Ashley Asbury; sister Ann Grymala; her grand fur babies Percy, Dexter, Zimba, Cali, K-Nuke, Rose, Storm, and Henretta; niece Jessica Grymala; nephew Nicholas LaBarge; uncle John Grymala; aunt Maryann Grymala; special friends Donald Bunnell, Thomas Sperling, and Heather Salzman; and several cousins.

Michelle is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret; grandchildren Trevon Grymala, Baby Sky Norton-Grymala, Blakely Norton, Kaden Tuura, and Aubrey Tuura; and her fur baby Cosmo.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street in Superior, and will continue until the Memorial Service at 1:00 PM.

Burial will be Wascott Kreide Cemetery at a later date.
