Mike B. Mattson

Michael Brian Mattson, 61, lifelong resident of Superior, WI died Monday, April 25, 2022, at home with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Superior, WI on February 5, 1961, the son of Donald and Annette (Salen) Mattson.

Mike graduated from Superior Senior High School and went on to drive for Kimmes Oil for many years.

He was united in marriage to Rebecca (Glenn) on September 10, 2011, and they celebrated eleven years of marriage before his passing.

Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother and will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Rebecca “Becky” Mattson, Superior, WI; children, Aidan Mattson, Crystal Kihanya, Nickolas (Brooke) Mattson, Sidney Green, and Tristan Green; grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lincoln, and Daisy, and one expectant grandchild due to arrive in June; sister, Carolyn Buchanan; brothers, Jeffrey (Jodi) Mattson, Darrell Mattson, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Annette, and sister, Cheryl Mattson.

A Time of Remembrance and Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 PM, on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Belgian Club, 3931 East 2 ^nd Street in Superior.

Cremation Service of Superior, 403 E Street, is assisting the family with arrangements.
