Mildred M. Gozanski

Mildred M. Gozanski, 96, Superior, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 in her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Duluth on October 13, 1918 to Marko and Sophie (Kenezevich) Chumich.

She was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Duluth, MN.

Mildred was a great cook and loved food and grocery shopping.

She and her husband Thadius were the owner/operators of the Duluth/Superior Excursions where she worked as the ticket agent for many years.

Mildred is survived by one son, Anthony Gozanski; two grandsons, Timothy Gozanski and Christopher Gozanski, all of Superior; one sister, Olga Lukovski, Duluth, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thadius; a grandson, Ricky; her parents; three brothers, George, Lazo and Gula and three sisters, Dorothy Anna “Stana” and Ruby.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and will continue until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service on Saturday, December 13, 2014 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th St., Superior, with Fr. Kristijan Petrovich, officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
