In addition to the committees and clubs she served on , Millie also enjoyed the outdoors. She often spent hours in her garden and during the winter would regularly go cross-country skiing. Her other passions included traveling and playing scrabble with her daughters and grandchildren. Millie was a kind hearted, loving woman who was always quick to lend a helping hand to a neighbor or friend in need. She was the matriarch of her family; the kind of woman her daughters aspired to be like and a person her grandchildren will always remember fondly.
