Myron "Bud" D. Levin

Myron “Bud” D. Levin, 92, longtime area resident, died Sunday, January 19, 2020 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation in Superior, WI, with his loving family by his side. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, June 16, 1927, the son of Alfred and Amelia (Berglov) Levin.

He graduated high school and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army. He was stationed in Germany from 1950-1952 and drove ambulances during the Korean Conflict.

Bud was united in marriage to Joanne Faye Levanpa on July 23, 1955, and they celebrated sixty-four years of marriage before his passing.

He owned and operated the Cloverland Garage and Transfer, drove milk trucks, school buses, and worked as a mechanic for forty-eight years before he retired. He was a member of the Brule Lions Club and the Barnes Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, swimming, reading and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne Levin, Superior, WI; son, Dale (Dena) Levin, Cloverland, WI; daughter Toni Flyen, Superior, WI; grandchildren, Lisa Seacotte, Superior, WI, Sherry (Paul) Khane, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Andy (Heidi) Flyen, Woodbury, MN, Jennifer (Eric) Bohrer, Woodbury, MN, and Jessica Levin, Duluth, MN; step-grandchildren, Ryan and Shawn Miller, and their families; great-grandchildren, Chonesanh, Asia, Madysen, Abby, Jayda, Sophia, Grayson, Grant, and Mallory; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sons, Michael and Mark Levin; brothers, Randolf and Vaughn Levin; and sister, Pearl Neal.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior, and will continue until the 1:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Chuck Ells officiating.

Burial will be in Cloverland Cemetery in the Spring.
