Nancy K. Christenson

Nancy K. Christenson, 88, a long time Superior resident, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at Twin Ports Health Services in Superior, WI. She was born November 12, 1934 in Superior to Melvin and Ida (Nelson) Christenson.

Nancy graduated in 1953 from Superior Central High School. She was employed for many years as clerical staff at MP&L and later at SWL&P. She served on the board for MP&L and SWL&P Credit Union. Nancy loved to sing and not only attended Pilgrim Lutheran Church but was also an active member of the choir. Her athletic side was revealed on the ice for the Superior Curling Club. She loved football and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

Her family extends a heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Twin Ports Health Services for the wonderful care Nancy received.

Nancy is survived by Ann Marie Novack, Superior; Lisa Harvey, Foxboro; and additional number of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Christenson.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and will continue until the 1:00 PM Memorial Service with Gary Banker officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
