Nancy Crum

Nancy Crum, 88, longtime resident of Solon Springs, WI, died Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Aspen Health and Rehabilitation in South Range, WI. She was born in Morris, IL on November 20, 1933, to Elmer T. and Dorothy (Battersby) Hauge.

She worked in her family’s confectionery store in Wilmington, IL. In 1973 Nancy moved to Solon Springs where she worked at Prevost Café for several years.

She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Solon Springs, and the American Legion Auxiliary #499 in Gordon, WI where she served as Sergeant at Arms for several years.

Nancy enjoyed her handwork, cross stitch and latch hook, music and dancing. Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and especially loved spending time with her family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her sons, Eugene Faul (Leah), Smithville, MS, Patrick Faul (Sherry) Oshkosh, WI, James Faul (Shelley), Solon Springs, WI; brother Kenneth Hauge, Ft. Meyers, FL; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Thomas Faul and Wesley J. Crum; parents; brother, James L. Hauge, and great-grandson Nathan Kvittem.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2022, at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, N4063 Veterans Way in Spooner, WI. Burial will immediately follow the service. Lunch will be served following the service at, Soft Pines Resort, 9925 E, County Rd A, Solon Springs WI 54873
