Nancy M. Johnson

Nancy M. Johnson, 58, Superior resident, died Friday, April 29, 2011 at the Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on October 18, 1952 in Superior, WI to Henry and Elvira (Dillman) Lane.

Nancy was a very caring and giving soul who will be sadly missed by her family.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Angela Hawkins, Bayfield, WI; son, Josh (Meredith) Johnson, Poplar, WI; grandson, Matthew Beckwell, Superior, WI; her father, Henry Lane, Warroad, MN; her mother, Elvira Lindegren, Superior, WI; brothers, Ben Lane, West Chazy, NY and Marshal (Theresa) Lane, Williams, MN; sisters, Linda (Gary) Moyer, Roosevelt, MN, Gloria (Bill) Christenson, Beaver Dam, KY, Kristy Naslund, Fargo, ND, Kathy (Myron) Norberg, Wannaska, MN and Michele (James) Beauto, South Range, WI and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Guy O. Johnson in 1975.

A special thanks to the staff at Middle River Health & Rehab for their care and compassion they showed Nancy during her time there.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM funeral service with Pastor Patrick Ziems from Zion Lutheran Church officiating.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior.
