Nicholas Christian Linder

Nicholas Christian Linder, 20, lifetime Superior resident left to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 24, 2011.

He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on August 28, 1990, the son of John and Judy Linder. Nicholas completed Army National Guard Boot Camp basic training at Fort Jackson, SC in August, 2008.

He graduated from Lakeview Christian Academy, Duluth, MN in 2009.

He also successfully completed a welding course at WITC and was planning to attend Oak Hills Christian College in Bemidji this fall.

Nicholas attended the Superior Alliance Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Cecilia Mlejnek and paternal grandfather Bertil Linder.

He is survived by his parents, John and Judy Linder, Superior; one brother Christopher (Krista) Linder, and niece Madalyn, Superior; paternal grandmother, Inger Linder, Superior; uncles and aunts, Derrick and Caroline Simonson, Al and Gitta Leeper, Kent and Bonnie Linder, Ron Linder, and special “Uncle” Mark Nelson, Superior; three cousins, Matt and Nate Simonson and Jeremy Barden; close friend, Adam Valine; he loved his cat and dog, Otie and Frosty.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th Street, Superior.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service at Superior Alliance Church, 1604 Banks Avenue, Superior, WI, with Pastor Darrell Grant, officiating.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Should friends desire, Memorial can be made to the Nick Linder Memorial Missions Fund.
