Norman Battaglini

Norman Battaglini, 78, Superior resident, died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Essentia Health /St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

He was born on April 1, 1932 on Staten Island, NY to Fred and Ida (Lucarina) Battaglini.

He married Rosemarie Ficarra on April 3, 1985 on Staten Island, NY and celebrated twenty-five years of marriage.

Norman was employed as a sales representative for Borden for many years until his retirement.
He was a member of Safe Harbor Wesleyan Church in Superior.

Norman is survived by his wife, Rosemarie; daughter Cindy Colasanta, NJ; stepson, David Orts, Superior and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lola Minnahane.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Safe Harbor Wesleyan Church, 632 Grand Avenue, Superior and continue until the 12:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Jason Rhodes officiating.
