Norman H. Hautala

Norman H. Hautala, 73, longtime Oulu, WI resident, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI. He was born on September 6, 1942 in Superior to Eino and Mary (Wallace) Hautala.

Norman graduated from the South Shore High School and served his country in the United States Army.

He was employed as a carman with the Soo Line Railroad for fourteen years.

Norman is survived by one sister, Linda (Larry) Exferd, Iron River, WI; three nieces, Sheila (Kevin) Mackie, Brule, WI, Sandy (Tom) Rautio, Iron River, WI and Tia (Mark) Foster, Richfield, MN; two nephews, Don (Andrea) Yrjanainen, Brule, WI and Jason Exferd, Iron River, WI and longtime friend, Johnny Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Evelyn Yrjanainen.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Hope Lutheran Church - Oulu, 2510 County Highway B, Iron River, WI and continue until the 11:00 AM funeral service with Pastor Scott Stai officiating.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Oulu, WI.
