Olive Weberg

Olive Weberg, 87, Superior resident, died Thursday, July 13, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN.

She was born on July 2, 1930 in Fort Francis, Ontario, Canada to Alfred and Dora (Orr) Knotts.

She graduated from high school and worked as a grocery store cashier for many years while raising a family in Lake Linden, MI.

Olive married Frank Weberg on December 18, 1948 and they celebrated fifty-three years of marriage before his passing in March of 2001.

Olive and Frank were members of Zion Lutheran Church in Superior, WI.

Olive is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Robert) Barrette, Green Valley, AZ, Shelby (Fred) Bivins, Green Valley, AZ and Darcy Weberg, Austin, TX; two sons, Lowell (Naomi) Weberg, Duluth, MN and Donald (Carlene) Gilbert, AZ; five grandchildren, Chris Barrette, Aaron (Melissa) Barrette and Nicole (Nicholas) Stepanek, Holly Weberg and Jodi Davis; five great-grandchildren as well as five step-grandchildren, Christine (Ed) Barta, Shawn (Jennifer) Fabbro, Amy Nielsen, Brad (Lauren) Nielsen and Carley Rogers and one brother, Cecial Knotts, Winnipeg, Canada.

She is preceded in death by her husband Frank, parents and step-grandson Jacob Fleener.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Burial will be Veterans Memorial Park in Greenwood Cemetery in Superior, WI.
