Olivia 'Liv' Denston

Olivia Nicole Denston, 17, passed away December 28th, 2025. She was born in Alexandria, MN on March 17th, 2008. Olivia moved to Wisconsin with her family in 2016 and was a current student at Superior High School.

Olivia had many accomplishments in her short life. She loved trap shooting and excelled at it. Olivia tied for 3rd at the high school state competition last summer in the 1A female division. Olivia made the top 24 overall in the state for high school team, female division fall season. She finished first in the women’s division at the local competition, the Arrowhead Cup Tournament. She won many awards at the Superior Trap Club during the winter and summer leagues, along with awards for the Superior High School trap.

Olivia was a volunteer junior hunter safety and ATV/Snowmobile safety instructor. She loved teaching others of any age that participated in the classes. She had a keen eye for watching for safety issues. She was on her way to becoming a Conservation officer.

Olivia was a talented artist and loved to create sketches, paintings, beads and more. She loved hanging out with her Siberian Husky, Parker. Olivia will be remembered for her kindness and love of her friends.

Olivia will be tremendously missed by her parents, Steve and Jeanne; her older brother Zachary, older sister Corrina, future brother-in-law, Lyle Schaan, and younger brother Talon; her grandparents, Brian and Linda Denston, grandmother, Gloria Carlson; uncle and aunt Jeff and Cristina Denston; her large extended family of cousins, great aunts and uncles; and great-grandmother, Lucy Sullivan. She will be missed by her boyfriend, Johnny; as well as friends and mentors that love to watch her on the trap field.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, John Moran.

A Celebration of Life for Olivia will be held at the Oakland Town Hall, 6152 S County Road K in South Range, WI on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
