Patricia M. Bouvine

Patricia M. Bouvine, 84, longtime Superior area resident died Saturday, April 25, 2009 surrounded by her family at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Hospice Unit in Duluth, MN.
She was born in Superior on March 27, 1925 the daughter of Frank and Alice (Shaul) Sheahan.
She loved spending time with her family which was very important to her.
Patricia was a longtime member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, and was a member of Catholic Daughters of Americas, Court # 1190.
She was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad as a Clerk for over forty-two years. She was also a member of N.A.R.B.W. Labor organization affiliated with the Burlington Northern Railroad.
She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl (Edward) Maciejeski, Superior; two sons, Timothy (Lynn) Bouvine, Duluth, MN; and Jon G. (Lisa) Bouvine, Superior, WI; seven grandchildren, Brett, Philip, Cassie, Timothy J., Alycen, Jonathan and Matthew; three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Kylie and Zackary; and several nieces and nephews; one sister, Kay (Don) Sauve, Bloomington, MN; one brother, Jimmy F. Sheahan, Madison, WI:
She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix in 2006; and one brother, Thomas Sheahan.
Patricia’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all the wonderful staff during her stay at Miller Dawn / Polinsky Rehabilitation Center and St. Mary’s Medical Center in both Duluth and Superior.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 in the Downs- LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior with a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Rosary scheduled for 6:30 PM and a Scripture Service to be held at
7:00 PM. Visitation will resume at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Daniel Dahlberg as celebrant.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
Pallbearers for the service will be her grandson’s, Brett Maciejeski, Philip Maciejeski, Timothy J. Bouvine, Jonathan Bouvine, Matthew Bouvine and Josh Gerding.
Should friends desire memorials may be made in Patricia’s name to Cathedral School, 1419 Baxter Avenue, Superior, Wisconsin.
