Patricia Jane Engstrom

Patricia Jane Engstrom, 89, Superior resident, died Monday, September 12, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN. She was born on July 14, 1927 in Wautoma, WI to Frank and Lelia Mae (Younglove) Wiley.

She graduated from the former Central High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Patricia was in the advertising department for Roth Bros and previously a book buyer for Logos Book Store for many years.

She was a member of the Order of St. Luke the Physician, member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Nebagamon, choir and altar guild, member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, assisting minister, choir and altar guild and P.E.O. sorority and Gideons. Patricia enjoyed playing cards with her best friends Joan and Char.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” in 1999, grandson Jason Kirkwood, sister Nancy Gross and daughter-in-law Cindy Engstrom.

Patricia is survived by three sons, Jeffrey (Brenda) and Gary Engstrom, both of Superior, WI and Rob (Mary) Engstrom, St. Paul, MN; six grandchildren, Brent, Jessica, Marc, David and Maria Engstrom and Melissa (Lee) Gardner; five great-grandchildren, Loula Jane, Jalynn, Haley, Anna and Jon.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap Street, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Pastor Will Mowchan officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Patricia’s name to The Salvation Army or Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
