Patricia J. Fuller

Patricia Jean Fuller, 90, of Rosemount, MN, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023.

Pat was born in Superior, WI on March 16, 1932, and lived in Superior/Duluth area most of her early years. After high school she moved to Duluth to go to the college of St. Scholastica. She worked as a nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth for many years until her retirement.

She lived in Vail, Colorado after her retirement where she loved to downhill ski in the winter months. She worked at Vail Daycare and enjoyed being “grandma to all the children.” Her favorite age group to work with were the toddlers and preschoolers. She also sailed the Great Lakes and along the coast of Maine in the summers with her late husband, Josiah Fuller.

Pat moved to Rosemount, MN after the passing of Josiah. She especially enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Pat is survived by her loving children, Mary Gainey, Ann (Mark) Johnson, and Patrick Gainey; grandchildren Ian, Nicole, Suanna, Max, and Luke; sister Mary Alice Piette; sister-in-law Donna Bugel; and many other loving relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Josiah; son Mark F. Gainey; siblings Frances Zak and Thomas Bugel; and brothers-in-law, Carl Piette and David Zak.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 11651 US-53 BUS in Solon Springs, WI. Catholic Rite of Committal will follow Mass at the church cemetery. The family will host a celebration of life after services.
