Patricia K. Johnson, 76, of Lake Nebagamon, WI, died Friday, January 20, 2017 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Duluth, MN.
She was born October 10, 1940 in Duluth, MN to Carl and Aina (Hanson) Johnson.
She grew up on the family farm in Lakeside, WI and graduated from the Northwestern High School class of 1958.
Patricia married Frederick Johnson on December 8, 1958 in Carlton, MN and they celebrated 58 years of marriage before his passing on June 3, 2016.
Patricia was a longtime member of Lake Nebagamon Presbyterian Church, where she was the organist during the winter months. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She co-owned and operated the Norwood Golf Course with her husband Fred for many years and was employed with the Carlson Group and worked as a cook at Minnesung Acres.
Patricia loved cooking, baking and sewing, and spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Terry Johnson, Superior, WI; daughters, Lou Ann (Jeff) Erickson, Andover, MN and Brenda (Mark) Anderson, South Range, WI; grandchildren Noah and Rami Erickson, Kristina (David Teige) Anderson and Kaylyn Anderson; brother Wesley (Karen) Johnson, Lakeside, WI and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred and her parents.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2017 in Lake Nebagamon Presbyterian Church, 6880 South First Avenue West, Lake Nebagamon, WI and will continue until the 1:00 PM Funeral Service with Pastor Leslie Anderson officiating.
