Patricia J. Lindquist, 87, longtime Superior resident, died Thursday, February 25, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth, MN. She was born in Pewaukee, WI, August 28, 1933 the daughter of Loran J. and Beatryce (Conner) Marmes.
Pat graduated from Siren High School, then she moved to Wyoming where she worked for Standard Oil. During her stay there she ran for Ms. Wyoming.
She united in marriage to John W. Lindquist, April 27, 1957 and they celebrated sixty-three years of marriage before his passing.
Pat was a longtime member of St. William Parish in Foxboro, WI where she sang in the choir and volunteered with church events.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Four Corners Crafters, the Retired Secretary Association, the Douglas County 4-H Club, and she was a lifetime PTA member and a member Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at their cabin in Webster, WI. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, playing cards and “shopping”.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Lindquist, Superior, WI; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mike) Johnston, South Range, WI, Carl (Beth) Lindquist, Hibbing, MN, and Tyler Lindquist, South Range, WI; and three great-grandchildren, Hank, Hanna Johnston, and Adalie Lindquist; half-sisters, Jan Gosdeck, Watertown, WI, Sharon Seeber, Watertown, WI; half-brothers; Loren J. Marmes Jr. Pewaukee, WI, Brian Marmes, Fort Atkinson, WI, Roland Marmes, Watertown, WI and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John; son, Michael C. Lindquist; sister, Rosemarie Olson; brother, Robert Shaffer; and her parents.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 5, 2021 at St. William Parish, 3095 E County Road B, Foxboro, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.
Pallbearers will be Carl and Tyler Lindquist, Elizabeth, Michael, Hank and Hanna Johnston.
Burial will be in Orange Cemetery in Webster, WI.
