Patricia Jean Mcnaughton

Patricia J. McNaughton, 92, passed away on February 16, 2024. She was born on January 23, 1932 to Michael and Genevieve (Selden) Flaherty.

Patricia was a life-long resident of Superior, WI. She attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and graduated from Superior Cathedral High School in 1949. Her careers included motherhood, clerk for Douglas County, and sales for JCPenney. In her free time, Patricia maintained a healthy mind by reading and completing crossword puzzles. She had a special passion for Wisconsin sports teams, including the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and Superior Spartans.

Above all, Patricia was a modest and humble soul who cherished her family. She will be deeply missed. May her gentle and loving spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Pat is survived by her children: Julie (Ron) Scott, Kay (Scott) Kranz, Tom (Cindy) McNaughton, Jerry (Jerry N) McNaughton, Tim (Shana) McNaughton, Peggy Clough and Sharon (Don) Dembroski. Patricia was a proud grandparent of 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Marjorie, Raymond, Michael, Edward, William, and Dennis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Thomas Flaherty, Kathleen Barton and Teresa Braun; and son-in-law Jerald R. Johnson.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, followed by a 7:00 PM Scripture Service offered by Catholic Daughters of America #1190.

Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 26, 2024 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Belknap, Superior, and continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Superior, WI.
