Patricia "Pat" Lorainne Homich

Patricia “Pat” Lorraine Homich, 70, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 in her summer home in Iron River, WI surrounded by her family.
She was born on March 30, 1940 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Milo and Gloria D. (Eaton) McCarty.
She graduated from high school in Superior. She was a homemaker and an insurance agent with American Family Insurance in Karen Korhonen’s office.
Pat was a longtime member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Iron River where she served as a lay minister and reader. She was a former member of the Iron River Business Association and the Iron River Snowmobile Club.
Pat is survived by a daughter, Dawn Marie (Chad Barry) Homich, Mason, WI; two sons, Timothy David Homich, Iron River, WI, Jeff (Michelle) Homich, Minnetrista, MN; seven grandchildren, Justin, Eric, Samantha, Ethan, Kaylee, Alex and Colton; three sisters, Debbie Tyykila, South Range, WI, Roxanne Eades, North St. Paul, MN, Sandy McGee, Eagen, MN; two brothers, Ricky (Pam) Johnholtz, Oliver, WI, Ronny (Melody) Johnholtz, Superior, WI; several nieces and nephews and her longtime family friend, Melissa DeMorett.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2006; one daughter, Tammy Homich; one brother, Jim Johnholtz and her parents.
Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM until the 1:30 PM Memorial Mass on Monday, July 26, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Iron River with Rev. Fr. Michael Crisp as celebrant.
Inurnment will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
Pat’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and apprection to Dr. Stephan Toothacher; special friend and nurse, Susan Prescott and all of Pat’s friends at the Flying Eagle Resort for the wonderful care they offered Pat during her illness.
