Patricia "Pat" A. Litchke

Patricia A. “Pat” Litchke, 90, lifelong East End Superior resident, died Monday, November 18, 2019 at Superior Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family following a brief illness.

She was born in Superior, May 20, 1929, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Sterzen) McCartin.

She was a graduate of the former East High School in Superior.

Pat was united in marriage to Henry “Bud” Litchke, July 9, 1955, and they celebrated sixty-three years of marriage before his passing in 2018.

She worked as a secretary for Lakehead Pipeline for many years before her retirement.

Pat was a longtime active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and their Altar Society and Travel Club; she was also a Peaceful Quilter, and a member of the Downtown Senior Citizens, the Douglas County Historical Society in Gordon, WI, AARP and Superior Choice Credit Union.

She is survived by her son, Christian “Chris” (Julie) Litchke; daughter, Marcia Geyer; grandchildren, Zachary, Daniel, and Emily Litchke, all of Superior, WI.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry “Bud” Litchke; parents, Frank and Anna McCartin; and sister, Mary Alice McCartin.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2316 East 4 ^th Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Superior.
