Patricia Marie “Patti” Pawlikowski, 79, lifelong resident of Superior, WI, died peacefully, Friday, July 7, 2023, at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior.
She was born in Superior on February 7, 1944, the daughter of Russell and Gertrude (Mikloczak) Newman.
Patti was united in marriage to James Pawlikowski on June 21, 1978, and they celebrated thirty-nine years of marriage before his passing in 2018.
She worked for many years as a server in the restaurant and bar industry and enjoyed her time helping others in need tend to their homes.
In her free time, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching mysteries, playing free cell on the computer and, most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Robert “Bob” Blomquist Jr., Superior, WI; daughter, Lori Beheng, Alexandria, MN; grandchildren, Dane Blomquist, Cloquet, MN, and Hannah Blomquist, Superior, WI; several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Nancy Smith, of California, Aunt Josie Saari, Iron River, and Sandra Higgenbotham, of Oregon; brothers and sisters-in-law, Thomas (Sharon) Pawlikowski, Mary Jo (Mike) Palmowski, Julie (Doug) Toms, Betty Kay Pawlikowski; several nieces and nephews, and her lifelong dear friends, Peggy Barnhart, Peggy Kuettel, and Barb Henderson.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Pawlikowski; son, Brett Blomquist; son-in-law, Michael Beheng, and her parents.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at New Perspectives Senior Living in Superior, and a special thanks to the staff at Villa Marina and Essentia Health Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street in Superior, and will continue until the 12:00 PM Funeral Service with Pastor Victor St. George officiating.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Superior.
