Patrick J. O'Brien

Patrick J. O’Brien, 50, of Superior, died Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN. He was born May 27, 1966 in Duluth, MN to William J. and Joanne (Fonger) O’Brien.

Patrick was a graduate of Northwestern High School, class of 1984. He was employed as a cook at C’s Lounge in Superior. Patrick loved to cook and worked at many restaurants in the area throughout his lifetime. He loved entertaining with friends.

Patrick is survived by his mother Joanne O’Brien; two sisters, Holly (Tony) Cross and Kelly (Travis) Lewis, both of Iron River, WI; four nephews; one niece; his longtime friend and companion Jame Matthews of Superior, WI and his faithful canine Brutus.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” O’Brien; brother, Tim O’Brien and nephew Ryan Lahti.

Per Patrick’s wishes no public services will be held.
