Patrick "Pat" Hennessy

Patrick “Pat” Hennessy, 53, West Allis, WI, died Monday, December 27, 2010, unexpectedly in his home.

He was born on August 12, 1957 in Duluth, MN to Maurice “Corey” and Jean (Soderlund) Hennessy.

He graduated from Superior High School and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from University of Minnesota, Duluth where he also minored in Chemistry. Pat then received his Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Pat had been employed as an environmental engineer for Alfa Laval, a heating and cooling solutions company and for Brady, an environmental compliance company both in the Milwaukee area.

He is survived by his wife Debbie (Olson) Hennessy of Superior, WI; one daughter, Erin Hennessy; two sons, Steven Hennessy and Christopher Hennessy, all of West Allis; his parents, Corey and Jean Hennessy, Superior; two sisters, Carol Hennessy, Superior, Colleen Anderson, Superior; two brothers, Corey Hennessy, Albuquerque, NM, Paul Hennessy, Superior and several nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vern and Jessie Soderlund and his paternal grandparents, Denis and Eva Hennessy.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Monday, January 3, 2011 until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. James Tobolski will be celebrant.

Inurnment will be at St. Francis Cemetery in the spring.

Services were held in Milwaukee on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010
