Paul Kauti

Paul Kauti, 67, lifelong resident of Superior, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth following a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. He was born in Superior September 6, 1950, the son of Leonard and Delphea (Severin) Kauti.

He married the love of his life, Nancy Cerys in January of 1993, and they celebrated twenty-five years of marriage before his passing.

Paul worked as a longshoreman and grain trimmer for many years before his retirement. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; daughters, Angelica (Shawn) Kasputis, Toma, WI, Ashley Cerys, Superior, WI and Chelsea (Tyler) Gradine, Fort Wayne, IN; sons, Paul and Garrett Kauti, both of Superior; grandchildren, Easten, Emma, Ava and Blake; sisters, Shirley Archambeault, Superior, WI, Jane Forstrom, Superior, WI, Sharon (Rick) O’Brien, Eagan, MN, Gail (Gordy) Abrahamson, Duluth, MN, Darlene (Ernie) Rein, Superior, WI; brothers, James (Marilyn Starstad) Kauti, Superior, WI, Leonard (Debbie) Kauti, Superior, WI; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5 ^th Street, Superior, where a memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM with Gary Banker officiating.
