Pauline A. Kalinoski, 87, Superior, died Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Villa Marina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Superior. She was born to John and Sophie Rozowski on July 15, 1925 in Superior, WI.
Pauline worked as a maid for the Manning Motel and then became a crossing guard for forty years for the City of Superior retiring on June 6, 2012.
Pauline married Chester Kalinoski on May 26, 1951. She was a member of the former St. Patrick’s and St. Stanislaus Catholic Churches and later Holy Assumption Catholic Church. She also was a member of the Polish Club.
Pauline raised four children, the late Bruce Kalinoski, Christine Kalinoski, Denise (Ed) Kramer and Alan (Vonnie) Kalinoski; four grandchildren, Sarah (Donald) Menya, Amanda (Andy) Post, Heather Hertel and John (Kelly) Paitl; two step-grandsons, Jason Moen and Kevin Kramer; five great-grandchildren, Kinnee, Elijah, Jordyn, Kaylie and Amber; two step great-granddaughters, Kadence and Neveah; two brothers, Stanley (Beverly Pierce) Rozowski, Superior, WI and Peter Rozowski, Brookfield, WI and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Chester Kalinoski, her parents, a son Bruce Kalinoski, four brothers Frank, Edward, Joseph and Paul Rozowski, and four sisters, Kay Neuberger, Mary Carlos, Helen Milock and Martha Johnson and sister-in-law Corrine Rozowski.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and scripture service to be held at 6:30 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Holy Assumption Catholic Church.
Burial will in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
Pallbearers for the service will be Mark Carlos, John Paitl, Jim Carlos, Jeffrey Rozowski, David Neuberger and Jason Moen.
