Peter "Joe" O'Brien

Peter “Joe” O’Brien, 52, longtime Superior resident, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 unexpectedly in his home.He was born on June 17, 1963 in Hammond, IN to James and Evelyn (Liska) O’Brien.

Joe was a manager for the Tower Spur Station for ten years.He enjoyed woodworking and was a published cartoonist. Joe was very caring and helpful to others.

Joe is survived by his mother, Evelyn; two brothers, Tom (Barb) O’Brien, Reedsburg, WI and Tim (Karen) O’Brien, Chicago, IL; one sister, Mary (Dale) Bowers, St. Augustine, FL.

He is preceded in death by his father James in 2006 and sister Rose in 1995.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the 6:30 PM funeral service on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
