Peter Q. Longrie

Peter Q. Longrie, 62, a Superior resident, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018. He was born on February 11, 1956 in Superior to Quentin and Alice (McDonnell) Longrie.

He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School and graduated from Superior Senior High School. For many years he worked in the construction industry in Houston, TX. He returned to Superior and his last place of employment was with Cutler Magner. He was a lifelong Packer fan and avid golfer.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Mary Stanke and Eileen (James) Bugni,both of Green Bay, WI, Patrick (Christy) Longrie, Temecula, CA, Michael (Elizabeth Kim)Longrie, Ft. Atkinson, WI, Carole (Harold) Matson, White Bear Lake, MN and Kathy (Donald) Tarasewicz, Cottage Grove, MN and many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Kelly and Teresa for being such wonderful friends to Peter. He was preceded in death by his parents Alice and Quentin Longrie, and his brother Thomas Longrie.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior and continue until the 1:30 PM memorial service with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski officiating.
