Philip Daniel Rud

Philip Daniel Rud, 26, passed away unexpectedly in Texas on Monday, December 9, 2013.
Philip was born on August 14, 1987 in Bagley, MN to Daniel Rud and Sylvia Rud.

He lived in Fosston, MN for a year and then moved to Superior, WI. At age four he moved to Texas where he attended school. Philip returned to Superior, WI each summer during his childhood to spend time with his family. In 2010, he moved back to WI until 2012 returning to TX to live.

Philip loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time in the WI outdoors. He enjoyed drawing and building furniture and birdhouses.

He worked in the construction industry as a carpenter in TX and for Nortruss in Superior, WI.

He will be greatly missed by his father, Daniel (Jane) Rud, Superior, WI; his mother Sylvia Rud, West Tawakoni, TX; two brothers, Steven (Tania) Hale and Jeremy Lanier both of TX and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior, WI and continue until the 3:00 PM memorial service.
