Rachel R. O'Neil

Rachel Rose O’Neil, 32, resident of Superior, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2023, in her home. She was born in Duluth, MN on June 28, 1991, the daughter of Jamey Meyers and Shelly O’Neil.

Rachel attended Superior High School in Superior and graduated in the class of 2010.

Rachel loved the outdoors and had many hobbies. She enjoyed reading and writing and going outdoors to fish, tending to flowers in her garden, agate hunting, and finding the best rummage sales. Rachel will forever be loved and missed by everyone who knew her, especially her feline companions, Sophia, Jack, and Ace.

She is survived by her mother Shelly O’Neil, Maplewood, MN; father Jamey (Stephanie) Meyers; sisters Danielle Kuettel, Krista Christiansen, and Lily Meyers; brother David Meyers; grandma Peggy Meyers (Raymond “Chopsy”); significant other Christoper Davy and his family, Patti Davy, John Davy, Jillian Davy-Graves, and Patrick (Erin) Davy; special cousins Michela Meyers and Haley Meyers; favorite uncle Jeff Meyers; lifelong friends Vinny, Emily and Blake Hill; several aunts and uncles; and many other cousins and friends.

Rachel is preceded in death by Christopher’s brother, Dennis Davy.

A Celebration of Rachel’s life will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5th Street, Superior. A Time of Remembrance will follow at 3:00 PM at Mike’s Place Bar, 1807 N 11th St in Superior, WI.
