Randolph W. Axt

Randolph W. “Randy” Axt, 72, former longtime Superior resident died peacefully on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Cerenity Senior Care Center in White Bear Lake, MN. He was born in Superior January 28, 1950, the son of William E. and Alice C. (Claassen) Axt.

Randy graduated high school and went on to earn his master's degree in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He worked within the Superior School District for several years. He was an avid reader and active in United Presbyterian Church. He also always enjoyed swimming at the YMCA or in one of the several area lakes

He is survived by his brother Henry “Hank” (Janice) Axt and their three children Brant Axt, Jessica (Axt) Schlager, and Shelby Axt.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM, Saturday, May 21 ^st at Greenwood Cemetery in Superior followed by a graveside committal at 1:00 PM offered by Pastor Brett Foote.
