Randy Joseph Maunu

Randy Joseph Maunu, 59, resident of California, formerly of the Twin Ports area, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in California. He was born in Superior July 4, 1959, the son of Sulo F. and Lorraine (Meirerotto) Maunu.

He graduated from Superior Senior High School in 1977 and went on to earn his degree in Accounting at W.I.T.C. He worked in Duluth as an accountant for ten years before moving to California where he worked as an accountant up until his passing. While in California he participated in many Pro-Am golf tournaments and won several.

He is survived by his mother, Lorraine; sister, Rhonda (Kevin Haburt) Maunu, Duluth, MN; brother, Ron Maunu, of Superior.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sulo Maunu.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4315 E. 3 ^rd Street, Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. David Neuschwander as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Superior at a later date.
