Randy Craig Wichlidal

Randy Craig Wichlidal, 70, lost his battle with cancer on May 3, 2025. He was born April 6, 1955, in Eau Claire, WI, the son of Carl and Virginia (Berthiaume) Wichlidal.

Randy was a graduate of Bayfield High School, class of 1973, and was proud to have served his community as a Bayfield County Deputy.  Later, he and his family moved to Superior, WI where he became the owner/operator of R&R Radiator.

He could often be found hosting poker parties and watching football games (cussing and swearing the whole time). He loved to go on long rides on his motorcycle with his best friend and flipping people the bird.  His friends and family would agree that he sure was good at bitchin’, yet he never complained. He tackled life, and death, head on and loved his family (and don’t forget his cats!).  Some of his favorite moments were simple ones though, like sitting on his deck, in the sun, coffee in hand and sunglasses on.

Randy is survived by his daughter, Jolene (Jason) Palme, Sandstone, MN; Jolene’s mother, Sharon Wichlidal; granddaughter, Samantha; great-granddaughter, Chloe; brothers, Rick Wichlidal and Butch Wichlidal; sisters, Karen (Jeff) Boutin, Sharon Rogholt, Kathy Brotherton, and Kerry (Jerry) Rathsack; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Randy’s wishes, no public services will be held.
