Raymond "Butch" P. Inscho, 71, lifelong Superior area resident, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth, MN.
Butch was born in Superior on September 9, 1937 the son of Raymond Cyrus and Bessie (McGrath) Inscho.
He graduated from Northwestern High School in Maple, Wisconsin
Butch served his country in the United States Army, serving as a Sergeant in the Infantry in Korea.
He was employed by United States Steel as a wheels man on the Great Lakes for twenty-five years.
Butch was a member of the American Legion.
He loved the Green Bay Packers and singing Karaoke.
Butch enjoyed fishing, leather craft, collecting and trading in firearms and knives.
He is survived by one sister, Bonnie Inscho, Superior; three brothers, Ronald Inscho, California; Patrick (Patty) Inscho, Colorado and David (Karen) Inscho, Tennessee; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and one special niece, Beth Anne Leggate and other nieces and nephews; one great - grand niece, Kaylie and other great-grand nieces and nephews; one great - great grand niece, Abby Jean; two great nephews, Kasey, Kyler. Butch was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation and time of remembrance will be 5 to 8 PM, Thursday, June 4, 2009 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 East 5th street, Superior.
