Richard "Ricky" D. Dalbec

Richard “Ricky” D. Dalbec, 69, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth, MN.

He was born January 16, 1952, the son of Donald Dalbec and June Farmer.

Although Richard kept to himself and was a bit of a recluse, he loved visiting with his family.  He also enjoyed tinkering with cars.

He is survived by his three sisters, Debbie (Henry) Koch, Ontonagon, Michigan, Patty Duffy and Lisa Hurd, both of Superior; four brothers, Greg “Jingles” Kastner, Mark (Deb) Dalbec, Jason (Jennifer) Dalbec, Tyler (Shelby Kurtz) Dalbec; and several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Little Girl.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald Dalbec, and June Hurlbut; brothers, Larry Dalbec and Brad Kastner; brother-in-law, Jon Hurd.

A time of remembrance and a celebration of Ricky’s life will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home, 1209 E. 5 ^th Street, Superior.

Angelina Morin, Christina Dalbec, Kevin Dalbec, Lee Dalbec, and Brett Dalbec will be recognized as honorary pallbearers for the service.
