Robert D. Conkright

Robert D. Conkright, 61, Superior resident, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Duluth.

He was born on February 25, 1955 in Superior, WI to Allan and Ilona (Bjork) Conkright.

Robert was a salesman for Happy Sleeper in Duluth for several years.
He was an avid reader and punster.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Lindsay Kolu, Minneapolis, MN, Brittany Conkright-Kolu, Roseville, MN, and their mother, Kathleen Kolu, International Falls, MN; three sisters, Nancy Lego, Superior, WI, Janie Harr, Portland, OR and Linda (Pete) Willcoxon, Superior, WI; two brothers, David (Dina) Conkright, Spring City, PA and John (Linda) Conkright, Lake Nebagamon, WI and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Susan Walker.

Graveside services will take place later this spring in Sawyer Township.
