Robert J. Fudally, 74, lifelong Superior area resident, died Friday, January 06, 2012 in his home.

He was born in Superior on September 2, 1937, the son of Joseph and Josephine (Mihalek) Fudally.

Robert was employed by First National Bank in Superior for over forty years, retiring as vice-president of the bank.
He was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Superior, where he served on the church finance committee. Robert was also a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Lake Nebagamon, WI.


Bob was well loved by many friends and family and the M & I Bank crew, both past and present. He held several positions on committees and associations in the community.
Bob enjoyed carpentry, gardening, entertaining family and friends at his cabin and socialized at local bazaars, bake sales and church dinners.

He is survived by two brothers, Joseph (Karen) Fudally, Lake Nebagamon, and Jim Fudally, Superior; one sister, Margaret (Ken) Pfankuch, South Range, WI; many nieces, nephews and his faithful dog and friend “Rosie”.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Irene Fudally.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Holy Assumption Catholic Church and continue until the 11:00 AM, Mass of Christian Burial, with Rev. Fr. Ronald Olson as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers for the service will be Mike, Steve and Brian Fudally, Paul Konkler, Paul Konkler, Jr., Justin Fudally and Dan Stocker.

The family would prefer memorials to the Animal Rescue Federation or Holy Assumption Catholic Church.
