Robert W. Krueger

Robert (Bob) Krueger was born in Appleton, WI in July of 1946 to Wilmer and Vera (Bellin) Krueger.

He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran in 1964 and joined the US Marine Corp, discharged in 1966. He then married Barbara Buxton (deceased) and had a son, Brian.

Along with his passion for the GREEN BAY PACKERS, he celebrated other home state teams including the Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. When the Packers were not playing, music filled his days with Neil Diamond, Gary Wright, The Eagles, and ZZ Top. Bob was a talented entrepreneur, craftsman, manager, and building inspector who was well read, creative, and addicted to the pursuit of happiness. He experimented with painting, poetry, and wood working.

Bob’s greatest love was his son, who was blessed with an incredible caregiver wife, who made sure Bob’s final days were comfortable at home with family. He enjoyed the grandchildren’s laughter, hugs, and smiles!

On March 11, 2024, heaven gained another patriot, surrounded by his family. Bob is survived by his mother, Vera Krueger; his siblings Jim and Trudy (Cartwright) Krueger, John and Brenda (Young ) Krueger, Dan and Kathy (Krueger) Dorchester, and brother-in-law Gary Eick; his son Brian and Rachel (Clayton) Krueger; his grandsons Andrew, Tristan, Quinten and Logan; his grand-daughters Karri, Darian, Savannah and Avalon; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his father Wilmer; brothers Keith and Kelvin Krueger; sister Barbara Eick, and sister-in-law Janet Krueger.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 PM on May 18, 2024, in the Winnebago Room at the Comfort Inn & Suites, 3809 W Wisconsin Ave, Appleton, WI. Bob lived a full and beautiful life that affected many lives.
