Robert L. Lehto

Robert L. Lehto, 74, lifelong resident of Superior, died peacefully, Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at REM House in Superior. He was born in Superior, February 18, 1946, the son of Axel and Tyyne (Marjamaki) Lehto.

Robert was a happy and content person and will be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers, Harold (Barb) Lehto, Superior, WI, Donald (Donna) Lehto, Oulu, WI, Clyde (Rosemary) Lehto, Rosendale, WI, Norman (Sherry) Lehto, Superior, WI, and Marvin Lehto, Wickenburg, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, “Jeanne” Mary Lehto; and brother, Peter Lehto.

A private family graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Oulu, WI. Pastor Scott Stai of Hope Lutheran Church in Oulu will officiate.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Essentia Health Hospice and Inclusa Group Home staff, for the wonderful care they provided.
