In 2000, Roger returned to UW Superior as the head coach of the Yellowjacket softball program and in over 19 seasons, built an amazing record, making him the all-time wins leader at UW Superior. Roger knew how to coach, he himself excelled as a player on both the baseball and softball diamonds winning the NAFA World Series Championship and MVP with Croix Valley Glass and being named All-American twice for men’s fast pitch softball.
