Ronald L. Dalbec

December 22, 1940 — November 11, 2021

Ronald L. Dalbec, 80, a long-time Maple resident, died Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Superior Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI.  Ronnie was born December 22, 1940 in Blueberry, WI, to Edward and Elizabeth (DeRosia) Dalbec.

Ronnie graduated from Northwestern High School and served honorably in the United States Army.  He worked as a logger, and as a janitor for Northwestern High School.  His interests were car racing, the Milwaukee Brewers, hunting, fishing, and an appreciation for all wildlife.  He loved Jesus and studied the Bible and prayed for others every day.  He was a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews, always kind in deed and word.

Ronnie is survived by his nieces and nephews, including many loved great-nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty (John) Drolson, and brothers Robert, Kenneth, Daniel, Hubert, and Gerald Dalbec.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Superior Rehabilitation Center for the loving care and companionship they shared with Uncle Ronnie.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Mission Covenant Church, 5161 S. County Rd. P, Poplar, WI, and will continue until the 2:00 PM Funeral Service with Pastor James Walsh officiating.

Burial will be in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery in Blueberry where Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435 Honor Guard.
