Ronald Joseph Davis

March 28, 1973 — June 19, 2020

Ronald Joseph Davis, 47, formerly of Superior, WI, was called to be with his Heavenly Father on June 19th, 2020 when he passed away at Hoag Memorial Hospital-Presbyterian in Newport Beach, California. Ron died after a battle with Congestive Heart Failure.

Ron was born March 28th, 1973 in Friendship, Wisconsin. Ron was lovingly welcomed into the Davis family when he was nine years old by John and Laura Davis.

Ron spent the next two years in New Mexico with his family while his father attended graduate school. Ron especially enjoyed playing soccer and the warm climate.

After the family moved to Superior, Ron attended Superior schools and was involved in Boy Scouts, skiing, karate and other activities. Ron loved animals, especially dogs including his beloved pets over the years Brandy, Doggy and Chocco.

In his young adulthood, Ron married Rocky Meller and they moved to Wisconsin Rapids where Ron pursued a two-year degree in Computer Technology at Mid-State Technical College. Here he met Dale Seefeldt who became a trusted life long friend.

Ron worked in various computer related jobs in the Fox River Valley area and Superior before moving west to Huntington Beach, California where he resided until his passing.

Ron loved woodworking and built various wood projects for family, church and his community over the years. His giving nature was noticed by many as was his love of others. He also enjoyed playing chess, board games and was an avid reader.

Ron is survived by his mother, Laura Davis; three brothers, Christopher Davis, Jeffrey Davis and Bob Rose; one sister, Nancy Miller; and Rocky Davis and her four children. Ron is further survived by cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles,

many friends and longtime girlfriend Marissa Gamez. Ron's family will be forever grateful for Marissa's love over the years and her enduring care throughout his illness. Ron was preceded in death by his father John Davis in addition to his grandparents.

A memorial service will be held in the future.
