Ronald Lloyd Elliott, 82, was born to eternal life on June 23, 2017. Ronnie was the only child of the late Lloyd and Isabell (Eder) Elliott born on February 22, 1935 in Ontonagon, Michigan. He lived in Ontonagon until the family moved to Glidden, WI, where he was baptized in the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. The family later moved to Superior, WI, where he entered the Army National Guard and honorably served his country.
Ronnie and his former wife, Nancy (Smith) were blessed with two children, a son, Walter Elliott and a daughter, Pauline Elliott.
He preferred a quiet and simple life. After he retired from surveying in Washington State he moved back to Wisconsin, and then on to Minnesota where he built a log cabin upon a hill in 1989 and lived there until the Lord called him home.
Ronnie was a kind man who, was always true to his word, and who was never known to say a wrong word about anyone. Those are just a few reasons his family and friends will miss him.
He is survived by cousins, Jacqueline Erickson, Tom Newton, Diane Schmidt, Mark Eder, Janice Nelson, Mary Barnes, Jean Holden, Joan Milach, Dorothy Otto, Rosemary Hanson, Florence Michel, John Eder, and several close friends that he considered family.
He is preceded in death by both of his beloved children; his parents and cousins, Irene Hanson, Donald Eder, Jeanette Kallio, Kenneth Eder and Leonard Eder.
Ronnie will rest with his parents in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Superior, WI.
