Ronald Gramer, 69, Maple, WI, died Tuesday, November 22, 2011, doing what he loved to do, hunting with his sons and the Bardon Creek Gang in Maple.
He was born on August 8, 1942 in North Chicago, IL to Phillip and Evelyn Gramer.
Ron retired in 1997 from the Gurnee, Illinois Fire Department as a captain after serving more than twenty years.
He enjoyed hunting and being in the woods.
He is survived by three sons, Ronald (Aime) Gramer, Gurnee, IL, John (Katrina) Gramer, Kenosha, WI, James (Amy) Gramer, Gurnee, IL; one daughter, Laurie (Chris Eustace) Gramer, Gurnee, IL; fourteen grandchildren; three brothers, Richard (Marie) Gramer, Jacksonville, Florida, Tom (Eve) Gramer, Gurnee, IL, Don (Sharon) Gramer, Vernon Hills, IL and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his wife Delores and his parents.
There will be a Celebration of Ron’s life from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 in the Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home.
