Ronald "Ron" G. Urban

Ronald “Ron” G. Urban, 79, Superior resident, died Friday, August 31, 2018 at Superior Rehabilitation Center in Superior, WI peacefully surrounded by family. He was born on November 12, 1938 to Joseph and Ellen (Nelson) Urban.

He was a machine tender for Con Agra Flour Mill for many years. He married Judith Koenig on May 25, 1963 and they celebrated twenty-nine years of marriage before her passing in 1992. Ron enjoyed deer hunting and camping. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and NASCAR fan.

Ron is survived by three sons, Steven (Lois Vnuk) Urban, Superior, WI, Ronald Urban, Jr., Madison, WI and Joseph (Karen) Urban, Superior, WI; seven grandchildren, Derek, Kevin, Brandon, Hannah, Sarah, Coron and Ciara Urban; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith, sisters, Bev Zinmer and Lorraine Schuman, brothers, Bob and Kenny Urban and his parents.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 820 Belknap Street, Superior and continue until the 6:00 PM memorial service with Pastor Will Mowchan officiating. Burial will be in Nemadji Cemetery in Superior.
