In loving memory of our brother Ronnie, 55, who passed away on March 10, 2010 at JFK Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.

Ronnie was born on December 7, 1954 in Milwaukee, WI. He grew up in Superior and attended school here. He lived in Florida for most of his life, and enjoyed camping, boating and NASCAR racing. His pride and joy were his two dogs, Duke and Sammie.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Ronald “Jim” Thompson. He had lost his soul mate, Betty Korbilka, also to cancer.

Survivors include sisters, Franny (Hank) Holland, Peggy (Scott) Petite, Nancy Cismoski and Linda (Brian) Riedasch, brothers, Richard (Debbie) Thompson and Robert (Karen) Thompson. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.

Although you were taken away from us too soon, you are sadly missed, and you will always be in our hearts.

Visitation will be begin at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM memorial service with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church officiating.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
