Rosalie Milszeski

April 13, 1921 — February 25, 2011

Rosalie Milszeski, 89, longtime Superior resident, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Superior.
She was born on April 13, 1921 in Chisholm, MN.

Rosalie worked as a cafeteria worker for Jeno’s Company for many years.

She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and a member of the former St. Louis Catholic Church.

She was a volunteer driver for Senior Connections many years and was the first driver for Meals on Wheels for Douglas County.

Rosalie is survived by her son, Edward (Karen) Milszeski, Sidnaw, MI; two grandchildren, Rena (Ed Primozich) Milszeski, Duluth, MN and Adam (April) Milszeski, Superior, WI; four nieces, Diana Peterson, Helen, Kathy and Sarah Notton; four nephews, Dennis, Glenn and Michael Peterson and Tom Notton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; sister, Olive and brother, Dale.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM on Monday, February 28, 2011 in the Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior with a scripture service is to be held at 5:00 PM.

Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church and continue until the 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Superior.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Rosalie’s name to Essentia Health St. Mary’s Hospice in Duluth.
