Rose "Rosie" Marie Gault

Rose Marie “Rosie” Gault, 84, longtime Superior resident, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

She was born on August 8, 1931 in Superior, WI to Edward and Laura (Gnadt) Roberts.

Rosie was employed with Holicraft Trophy for many years.

She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Rosie loved playing cards, especially cribbage. She also loved bowling, reading and watching movies.

Rosie is survived by three sons, Michael “Mike” (Susan) Gault, Superior, WI, John Gault, Superior, WI and Dean Gault, Newport, MN; one daughter, Sharon Gault, Superior, WI; one granddaughter, Kristen Gault, St. Paul, MN; three sisters-in-law, Patsy Madison, North Lake, IL, Lendora Roberts, Superior, WI and Jonette Goodloe, MI and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George “Wally” Gault in June of 1995, her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Cathedral of Christ the King Catholic Church, 1111 Belknap Street, Superior and continue until the 11:00 AM Memorial Mass with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Rosie’s name to the Solvay Hospice House, 801 Baylis Street, Duluth, MN 55811.

The Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, 1304 Hammond Avenue, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
